The Parma Airport, a community access airport located on the southeast side of the City, south of the Union Pacific Railroad Main Line on 29 acres owned by the City of Parma. The airport has a single runway which is 2700 feet long and 50 feet wide with an asphalt surface. The runway has no lighting or reflectors. There are no NAVAIDS or beacon.
There are nine tie down spaces and two hangars. Both hangars are in currently occupied. There is water, sewer, telephone, and electricity available.
Access to the airport is along Sand Road to Airport Road.
Future plans include repaving and lengthening the runway, installing a new lighting system, and improving the access road. These projects will begin in the Spring of 2015.
